Night's white paws landed atop the trash-can lid with a small clang as claws met metal. Her single-eye gazed out at her Clan, and her voice rang out, "Let all cats old enough to fight their own battles gather here for an announcement!"

Raven's ear flicked, and she raised her head. The sound of Night's voices sounded through the alley way, and she knew she had to go see what the trouble was. She shook her dark brown tabby fur as she stood up and left the card board box she was resting in. It didn't take her long until she was near the base of the trash can, staring up at her Clan leader with curious eyes.

Shadow padded softly over to her leader, silver irises glowing in the dimly lit alley. Her grey collar gleamed with her eyes, and the teeth and claws pointed out sharply against her slender neck. She sat faithfully by the trashcan, waiting for her leader's words. Shadow's tail crossed around her paws, and she looked around at the gathering cats. Her eyes flickered up to Night occasionally, waiting for her to speak, and she had her normal sly smile on her maw. * Light, Jay blue eyes peeked out drowsily from a rather dry corner, and a silver tabby pelt made it's way towards his clanmates. Jay yawned loudly, altough he couldn't be heard over the chattering of the cats. His eyes brightened as he looked up at his leader, and a light smile replaced the yawn of his muzzle. His whiskers twitched, and his tail flickered ever-so-slightly as he waited for Night's words.

Bounding happily from a small cardboard box, Leopard found a spot near Raven to sit. She looked up with curious, happy eyes at her leader. Leaning over to Raven she whispered "I wonder what Night's going to say!" ************ Stumbling out of her little den, and disturbing a few dock leaves, Shard shuffled her way over to the crowd that was quickly gathering. Finally she found a spot near Jay and sat down with a light thump. Looking up with tired blue eyes, Shard had a pretty good idea of what Night was going to announce. But she didn't say anything.

Night's long tail swished through the air a few times. When everyone was gathered, her eye narrowed down into a glare.
"The ancestors of the afterlife have spoken to me," she began. Her voice slowly turned into a dark hiss. "There are traitors among us!" Her single eye gleamed in the light.

Leopard's brown eyes widened. Looking around wildly she wondered who were these traitors. Who is it and what did they do? She wanted to know who it was. ********* Shard was surprised. This isn't what she was expecting! Who are the traitors and what have they done? Shard saw Leopard looking around wildly, probably wondering the same as Shard.

Dusk had just padded into the area when he heard the announcement. His eyes wide, he looked at the leader. She spoke so boldly and didn't seem to have any trouble openly declaring traitors among the Clan. The large tom looked around. Which of his Clan mates could possibly do this?

Scar growled under his breath, his short tail lashing and his ears twitching. How dare that know-it-all she cat accuse them?! He'd show her...
Standing up, he hissed, "How dare you accuse us of betrayal?! Who do you think you are?!"
---
Night angrily snarled at Scar, but continued on. "Yes!" She hissed. "Many of you will betray us!" Her single-eyed gaze rested on Scar and she turned to answer his question.
"Ask my Father and your own ancestors that," she snarled, "unless you want me to add to that little collection of scars on you."
Scar bared his teeth, but sat down, plotting revenge quietly.

Raven swallowed a bit hard. She was not completely loyal to the Clan, but most of her loyalty did lie within BloodClan. Guilt surged through her as well as a furious feeling for the traitors if it wasn't her. Her neck fur bristled, but only slightly. What happens if Night found out that she had one paw set in BloodClan and the other with her teacher -an animal that was no where near cat, but instead, a bird! She shook her head, knowing that her teacher would want her to fight with reason. "And what makes you say that there are traitors among us? And, may I ask, who you have on your mind that you would judge as traitors? Of whom in this Clan chooses to disobey the Afterlife and the Clan code?"

(Lol Leopard would start a fight with scar for challenging her xD ) Leopard saw the tom, and hissed at him. How dare he challenge their leader? She'd show him! ------- Shard saw Leopard as she hissed at Scar. Knowing Leopard, Shard walked over to her. "Don't start anything." She told Leopard, with a glance at her leader who looked very angry. "Not unless Night tells you to." ------- With a small hiss at Shard, Leopard sat down, and looked back at Night. Why would we betray you? she thought to herself.

Night licked her lips. Her eye swept over her cats, cruelly. Accusingly. Truthfully. Her eye flicked overb to Raven, and with a twitch of her tail she replied, "Our ancestors have chosen not to tell me. But-" her claws unsheathed at this point. "-be on the lookout for them."

Leopard imagined the fight. Blood running through her fur, down her paws. Traitors blood. They deserve to die for being traitors. She thought to herself. Whoever betrayed Night, would have to deal with Leopard. She would fight them until they beg for mercy, even fight them long after they beg for mercy. Her claws flashed in and out as her imagination took place in her mind. ----------- Shard looked worriedly between Night and Leopard. Leopard looked bloodthirsty and ready to kill, a killer gleam in her eyes. Night looked cruel and cold, no mercy flowed in her veins. Shard was scared Leopard would kill everyone here. Afraid that Night would drive her clan in to separate groups, afraid they would talk to a traitor.

Raven flicked her tail. "Proof," she mewed. "Do you have proof. What makes you say that traitors are among us? Has anyone seen them do traitorous things? Things worth to banish or to kill them over? My teacher has taught me-" she then stopped. If she spoke too much of her savior, the raven who had saved her that night, would Night see her as a traitor? Most of the time Raven didn't eve dare to speak of her savior out loud, only its teachings. A look of uneasiness spread across her face. She had already spoke the words, she had already perked some ears. "A teacher has taught you what?" she heard a random cat yowl. "Nothing." Raven said quickly, bowing her head. She looked back up at Night. "Just meow out proof. Proof can lead to which cat has betrayed us. If you can say none, then either investigation can be involved, or there is exactly that -none."

Night's one eye narrowed in anger. "The afterlife has told me there are traitors among this Clan," she hissed. "I'm inclined to believe them. Though there is no proof now, the traitors will show themselves soon enough."
She sat on her haunches, and went on. "Furthermore, I have another announcement to make."

Swift yawned from where he sat. Announcements always bored him. He glanced sideways at Dusk, who sat next to him. Swift hadn't heard half of what was going on... Maybe he could ask Lucky when it was over.
