Walking quietly to the meadow, Shard decided to think. Who are these traitors? What have they done? She thought to herself. Looking at the sky with her blue eyes, her gray and white fur shining in the moonlight, she wondered again who the traitors where. "What has someone done?" She asked the Afterlife. She wanted answers. Sighing she looked around, might as well attempt to look for herbs while she was out.

Jay blue eyes stared up at the night sky, head turned upwards to watch the tiny flecks twinkle. He didn't notice the she-cat was in the meadow until she pBrassed near him, and he recognized the scent instantly. His paws pulled him up, and he yawned, lound enough to be heard by Shard, but he wasn't sure she noticed. Jay's collar gleamed, and he looked down ruefully at the spikes, thinking off what he did when attacked. He sighed softly, and watched the she-cat silently.

Turning at the sound of a loud yawn, Shard smelled a familiar scent. Looking at where she saw him she sat down. "Hi Jay," She meowed in to the darkness.

"Hello, Shard," he meowed softly, flickering his eyes towards the sky. He sat quietly, paws prodding against the cold, frosted ground. Jay grinned at the she-cat, giving off a warm air and flicking his whiskers. "How are you?" he inquired, tail flickering as it wrapped around his paws.

"Good, a little worried I guess." She looked at the tom. "I wonder who the traitors are, and why the Afterlife never told me about this?" She said. Shard sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws, tilting her head a little to the side.

Jay nodded, eyes furrowed and narrowed slightly. The tom had often thought about this, who those traitors were. It sickened him, knowing that a cat would intentionally go against clan laws and even more, their leader, night! His tail swayed, hitting rather hard against the ground.

Standing up Shard looked around. "Well, if I'm out here I might as well make myself useful." She turned and continued to search for herbs. "There's so few herbs that survive the twoleg kits running around here with their dogs," She spotted some cobwebs, she would need these. "that any herb I find is a blessing." She carefully wrapped the cobwebs around her tail, a little trick she learned. Letting a muffled laugh escape her lips as she looked at her white tail, Shard continued to search for herbs. Her bright blue eyes scanned the clearing, but she couldn't find any more herbs.

((Lol, i know. I really want Jy to be ike, 'Surprise, i've loved you since i was like, 8 moons old!'))
"Wehat do you need?" he inquired softly, "I could help find it for you." He rose from his haunches, following slightly behind the she-cat. His tail swayed across the ground, happy to be moving again. Jay hadbeen laying on the ground for quite a few hours, so it was nice to finally stretch out his joints. His whiskers twitched softly as he waited for a reply from the she-cat.

((Runs to check herb list because i needa know some herbs xD, and that would be hilarious. then shard can be like "well jokes on you because i loved you when you were BORN" xD well tht cant happen but lol))
"I'm running low on blackberry leaves, burdock root but dont bother burdock root wont grow here, and cobwebs." She found some daisy leaves. Biting some off she looked back at Jay, wondering if he even knew what blackberry leaves would grow.

"Blackberry leaves, huh? I think I know where those are," he nodded to himself, thinking of the patch of berries near the edge of the meadow. "I could take you there, i-if youd like.." his head unintentionally tilted, and a sheepish grin spread across his face.

Shard looked around, scanning the clearing. "Oh I know where they are," She told Jay. "I just want to see if I can find any more herbs here." She gave a disapproved frown at the ground. "But, nothings here so I guess I'll come with you."

Jay nodded softly, tail flickering as he padded towards the meadow's edge. His paws kneaded the ground as he walked, and the tension of hsi shoulders slowly left him on the way over. He looked up at the sky, the Northern star shining brightly overhead. He let loose a soft little grin and kept on walking, tail now flowing lightly behind him.
