"I've Made Up My Mind!" (Open)

[Jungleheart]

A tiny black she-cat stood atop a trash can, her dark eyes focused. She tilted her head back, the brown racoon-mask over her eyes twitched. "I've made up my mind!" she shouted, voice defiant. It sounded rather funny to hear the high-pitched kitten voice holding this emotion.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Walking down the ally, a she-cat that had the fur patters of a leopard heard a kitten shout. She recognized the voice and started racing towards the voice. Seeing the tiny black she-cat, she rushed over. The leopard cat crouched besides the tiny she-cat. "What's wrong?" She asked in a caring voice.

[Jungleheart]

Jungle lifted her head and looked important. "I'm leaving BloodClan," she declared. She narrowed her dark blue eyes. "You all are too boring." She glared at her paws. "When Lucky has her kits, they will leave, too. No kit can have any fun around here." She lifted her head again and stared boldly at the cat, seeing how she would react.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Leopard put a determined face on. "No way are you leaving!" She half shouted. "If you leave you'll die out there!" Thinking for a moment she added, "And survival comes before fun! Lucky's kits aren't going to leave either, because Lucky nor Swift would let it! When they come around you will have playmates okay. But for now,wait. Lucky is due probably in a moon or two, you can wait." Then quickly she added, "Or I'll make you wait." Narrowing her eyes she decided she didn't want Jungle to leave. Even if the little kit could be annoying.

[Jungleheart]

Giving her most defiant look, the she-kit studied Leopard furiously. "I am leaving and there is nothing you can do to stop me! I'll live on my own!" her voice cracked as she continued. "I'll go find my mommy and Poison! They'll be there for me unlike all of you!" she was trying to hold back little tears. She sniffled and tried to contain her defiant expression.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Leopard looked down at the kit with sympathy. She knew Jungle wasn't born here, even though that's what all the other cats told her, and Jungle knew that too. "Jungle, your mother, nobody knows if she's, if she's," Not finishing her sentence Leopard sat down and looked Jungle in the eye. She knew what it was like to grow up without a mother, it wasn't fun. It was horrible, especially if you knew your mother, or if you knew her for a short time. Leopard knows very much how it hurt when you lost your parents.

Tears spilled from the furious kit's eyes. "My mom's alright! She's fine! You'll all see! She's part of one of those forest clans with my cousin! She promised! She promised me she would be alright!" her voice quavered and she fought hard to keep from screaming. No one believed her. Forest was still alive. Dawntail had died to make sure! Poison and Forest were fine. They had to be! Jungle couldn't stay on her feet. She collapsed, sobbing. The little kit had been planing to go look for her mother, that's why she was leaving. But, not, she was afraid of what she would find.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Moving closer to the small kit, Leopard felt bad. All Jungle wanted was to see her mother, and father. Is that too much to ask for? She asked the Afterlife in her head. Not knowing what to say, Leopard stayed quiet as she watched the tiny kit sob. Poor little kit, Leopard knew it was hard to accept that your mother isn't alive. But she didn't know what it was like to know your father wasn't alive, her father ignored her.

[Jungleheart]

Jungle buried her nose in Leopard's flank. "If I leave, you're coming with me," she mumbled around the spotted cat's fur.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Looking down, Leopard knew that if Jungle really was going to leave, she would too. Only, so Jungle could accept the truth. Nothing is out there, the forests are gone, and so is her mother Forest. "I know," She whispered quietly, sighing the she-cat let Jungle continue to cry.

[Jungleheart]

The tiny cat scooted away and whipped her nose with the back of an alarmingly small paw. She sniffled. "None of this would have happened had my dad not left," she mumbled. Looking around, she sighed. "But,I do love BloodClan."

[Lucky-Tiger]

"Bloodclan is where you belong now," Leopard said, looking at Jungle. "now, lets go see how Lucky is doing and see if she needs anything." The queen was a nervous wreck and was due in maybe a moon, or even a few days. Swift probably needs help calming her down.

[Jungleheart]

The little cat instantly brightened. "Okay!" She giggled, leaping to her paws. She darted off in search of the queen. It would be nice to have some other kits around.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Laughing lightly, Leopard followed the small kit. Soon she found Lucky laying in the box her and swift usually sleep in. The queen's belly was swollen with kits, and her tail was wrapped around half her stomach.

Hearing some noises, Lucky had trouble trying to get up to see, but then she saw Leopard and relaxed. She sighed. "What brings you hear?" She asked in a small voice, trying not to be harsh. She's been told she has been a little harsh lately, which was unusual for her.

[Jungleheart]

Jungle held back, her head to one side. "Hi, Lucky," she greeted.
