~* J a y *~ A silvery tabby pelt slipped through the shattered glBrass door of the fourth-floor's room 413, long tail sliding out last onto the balcony. The abandoned hotel wasn't where the rather young tabby usually resided, as he slept in the Heart of Bloodclan's territory, but tonight was different. The balcony's bars were broken and twisted downwards, leaving just enough room for a cat to settle against the corner and leave it's paws just barely hanging off the ledge. The silver tabby liked to come here and think, letting his gentle and calm thoughts roam freely in his mind.
The tom was currently staring at the sky, twinkling little dots lighting the normally black sky up. The hotel was fare enough at the edge to the city where the flashing lights didn't block out the beautiful night sky, leaving it open and vulnerable. He purred slightly, icy jay-blue eyes closing softly. He rested his head on his paws and grinned softly, not a gruesome thought in his mind at the moment. His tail curled around his relaxed body, and flickered every so often, dozing off slightly with what was known as sleep. His whiskers twitched every so often, telling of a pleasant dream, and the light grin on his features curled into a smile, paw covering his nose. |

Walking through the abandoned hotel, Shard saw a silvery tabby pelt. Jay, She thought to herself. Well, maybe she could have a friend to talk to. She walked silently up to behind him. "Hello." She said with a smile. |

The young to's eyes lazily opened at the sould of a feminine voice reaching his ears. He turned his head, blue eyes turning warm as he looked at the she-cat. "Hello, Shard," he grinned, yawning loundly after he spoke. He sat up slowly, tail curling at the tip as his paws dragged up and off of the edge of the building. "How might you be doing?" he meowed softly, tail curling over his paws as his whiskers twitched at her.

"Oh im doing good." Shard told the tom, her blue eyes shining happily. For some reason she must have caught Leopards happiness sickness. "How are you?" She asked, sitting down awkwardly. Her leg still bothered her from falling earlier today. But she paid no attention to that. |

"I'm well," he replied, light grin spreading across his handsome features. He noticed her sitting down, and looked at her leg, noting how she looked slightly uncomfortable. His head tilted slightly, and he gently louched her leg with a paw. "What happened?" he inquired softly, brow creased with slight worry.

Shard looked down at her leg. "Oh, i was coming back with Scarnose from a successful herb hunt and i tripped and collided with the ground. I may have twisted my paw a little." She frowned at her paw and how awkwardly it was twisted. It didn't bother her too much though.

Jay nodded quietly, still casting little glances at it before finally settling down in his spot again, paws crossed over one-another. "Alright," his tail tucked under his chin, eyes still on the she-cat. Jay's whiskers twitched, a light grin on his features again, and he flickered his eyes back to the glimmering sky.

Shard looked up at the sky and saw the stars shining brightly. "Its beautiful tonight." Normally the bright yellow lights block the stars. She thought to herself.

Jay snuck a few glances at Shard, but he whole-heartedly agreed with that statement. "It is," he replied gently, "We're far enough from the city to actually see them." He licked a paw and flashed her a meek grin, distractedly staring at the sky afterwards. He let out a little sigh, breath fogging and curling upwards in the chilled air. He wrapped his tail around himself tighter and rested his head back on his paws from where it was raised. "I wish we could see this when to sun was out, as well. It sure would make a beautiful sight," he meowed softly. He let a ruesome grin form, "but alas, you can't get the best of both worlds..."

"No," Shard meowed looking out at the stars. "you never get the best of both worlds." She licked a paw and dragged it lazily over her ear. Yawning a little she lie down. "Its been a long day." Shard meowed, sounding tired.
