Night dropped the rabbit and mice beside an empty cardboad box. She sat on her haunches, took a paw, and wiped the blood from her cheek.
"I'm not sure about you," she said to her deputy, "but I'm beat tired. Let's drop these off and get some sleep."
Her white paw was dotted with her cheek blod, and she carefully flicked it off with a motion of her paw.

"As am i," she replied, sitting down after dropping off the other rabbit and mouse. Shadow's tail curled around her paws, and a light yawn opened her muzzle wide, teeth glinting in the light. Her eyes drooped, and her tail flickered now and again, the motion lazy and drowsy.

Night sat down, relieved to have the heavy prey out of her jaws. She wiped the last of the blood from her cheek with her paw, and drew a tongue over it, lapping up the blood like water.
Shaking her pelt and standing, she looked at her deputy. "You better go see Shard," Night ordered.

Shadow nodded at her leader, lifting up from her haunches. Her ear stung as she softly padded over to where she knew Shard was, hissing to herself quietly. Blood dripped into her eye and down her muzzle. She questioned just how much her ear could bleed, as it was merely nicked, she Brassumed. Her tail lashed and she sat down gracefully, one silver eye shut. "Shard?" she called softly, a rueful smile on her face as she shook her head once and licked her paw. Shadow dragged the pure jet black paw down her face, wiping the dark red blood off of her face. Her tail wrapped securely over her paws after she was finished, but a few droplets welled up and dripped to the ground below her.

Shard was already awake, she had a feeling someone was hurt and had prepared some herbs she may need. When Shadow walked in Shard rushed over. "What happened, tell me everything, spill it." She looked the deputy in the eye a couple of seconds then went off to get cobwebs.

"We met a rogue," she started, silvery eyes gleaming as they watched Shard find the cobwebs. "He was hunting on our territory, and had a rabbit that could feed well-over four cats." Her tail lashed as she relived the excitement. "Night had me hid the rabbit while she took care of him, and i jumped in while they were on the ground. He ended up catching my ear." The said ear flicked, and she gave a short little laugh. "He didn't stand a chance. We took care of him, and I've got a mouse or two waiting for you over by Night," she meowed happily, a light grin upon her features now.

Shard wrapped Shadow's ear while listening to her story. She frowned as she looked at how messy it was but she was tired from running around for herbs. "Well, I'll get one of those mice later." She said, "Don't fight for a few days or you might tear the cut open again." Shard instructed.
