You and Me (Lucky)

[Jungleheart]

Swift sat at the park, looking over his shoulder. He had asked Lucky to meet him here. His black stub-tail twitched and he gave a small sigh. His thoughts drifted to when he had joined the Clan. Dusk had found him and gotten him to join with the simplest of quiet words. Not Dusk spoke to no one. Sighing, Swift remembered how he had been good friends with the quiet, defensive tom. Maybe it was his fault he had no friends anymore... All he wanted to do was be around Lucky.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Wandering towards the park, Lucky battled in her head. If I tell him, he might be mad. But, if I don't tell him, Shard will, or he'll notice himself. She shook her head, and didn't know what to say. When she looked up, her green eyes locked on to a figure. Swift. The name echoed in her head. Silently and slowly, she walked up behind him. Sitting next to him, she meowed quietly "Hi."

Purring, the russet tabby smiled at the she-cat. "Hello, Lucky." He said cheerily, happy to be shaken from his thoughts. He could tell something was on her mind. "What is it?" he asked, tilting his head.

[Lucky-Tiger]

"Nothing, it- it's nothing." Lucky smiled as she looked at Swift. Still unsure how to tell Swift her news. She hoped Swift would leave the topic alone.

[Jungleheart]

Prodding her flank with a paw, the tom grinned. "Come on!" He urged. "You can't lie to me. I know something's up." His smile stretched as he began batting at her with his paws. "Come on! Out with it!" He laughed, prodding her again.

[Lucky-Tiger]

I should just tell him, She thought, she gave Swift a worried look. "I, I, I'm pregnant." She finally stuttered out. "They're yours." Lucky was scared of Swifts reaction.

[Jungleheart]

Swift froze instantly, jaw hanging open. Lowering his enourmous paws, he couldn't speak. "K..kits?" he stumbled over the word. His heart seemed frozen. Suddenly, he felt joy rush through him. "Kits?" he laughed. "You're having kits?" He leaped up onto a boulder and cried to the sky. "I'm gonna be a dad!" Leaping around like an idiot, he let out a series of yowls.

[Lucky-Tiger]

Lucky was so scared when he stuttered. Then Swift seemed so happy, a smile appeared on her face. "Yes yes you are!" She cried out happily. She watched him jump around and laughed a little. She wished she could join him, but was told by Shard, not to run around too much. So instead, she watched and laughed a little.

[Night]

A yowl rang out from the distance. "QUIET DOWN!" a rough, male voice screeched. "I'M SLEEPING HERE, YOU HOOLIGANS!"

"AS AM I, RABBLEROUSERS!

"DITTO HERE, WIPPERSNAPPERS!"

Bounding over to her, Swift licked his mates ear. A purr rumbled in his chest. He had never felt so happy in his life. Laughing, he threw his head back to the sky. When the screaming cat sound came, Swift just laughed harder and fell over. He continued laughing until his ribs hurt.

[Lucky-Tiger]

A purr rising in her chest, Lucky buried her head in Swifts shoulder. When she heard the cats yowling about how loud Swift was, she laughed a little. They all sounded like very old cats.

Swift wrapped his tail around Lucky, still chuckling slightly. He wore a smile and wasn't sure if it would go away for a long while.

"I love you." Lucky whispered into his shoulder. She sighed, thinking about the next few moons.
